Our commitment to constant learning
At Innova Spa, we value education as a top priority. We recognize that there is nothing constant in the beauty industry but change. To that end, we are constantly participating in courses and workshops to upgrade our knowledge of new services and innovations in product technologies so that we can best serve our clients.
Our expertise, your education
In an effort to share our broad base of knowledge and experience, we offer ongoing workshops and classes to existing and aspiring aestheticians hoping to advance their skills, service and careers. Our goal is to raise the bar continually to elevate and support those in this industry that take their careers and clients as seriously as we do.
Training courses that we currently offer include:
Microblading is a procedure used to create very realistic tattooed eyebrows, using a single hair stroke technique, applied with a manual handheld tool. The method deposits pigments into the upper layers of the skin in fine lines that replicate natural brow shape and growth.
This course is very detailed and includes sections on anatomy and physiology, bacteriology, brow design techniques, colour theory, pigment blending, hands-on practice on models, practical and theory exam, and a 10 model practicum for a certificate of completion.
It is a 5-day comprehensive training which includes the student kit, exam and certificate upon completion of the practicum.
En Vogue has created a completely non-toxic line of gel nail products that are manufactured in Canada, the raw materials originating in Europe. By taking dental gel bonding products and refining them, they have succeeded in raising the bar in gel nail technology.
This course is a complete and comprehensive training to learn the techniques to create beautiful gel nails, using nail tips and/or nail forms, depending on the needs and condition of the clients’ nails. We begin with natural nail manicures and nail care, bacteriology, sanitary practices, application of gel nails (using a variety of tools and techniques), finishing and nail art techniques, theory and practical exam and the granting of a certificate following the completion of a practicum.
The course is 36 hours of one on one training, 36 hours of practical work, exam and certificate upon completion.
